Dental treatment room lighting project:
Summary: Dr. Krafft’s new dental clinic in Leipzig features five Dentled PVR150 full-spectrum ring lights, delivering uniform, shadow-free illumination across treatment rooms. Installed within a historic high-ceiling space, the lighting combines direct and indirect illumination to enhance visibility, reduce eye strain, and ensure accurate color perception for precise dental procedures.
Client: Dr. Krafft Dental Clinic in Leipzig
DentLed lighting used: Dentled PVR150
For the new dental clinic of Dr. Krafft in Leipzig, five Dentled PVR150 full-spectrum ring lights were installed in the treatment rooms.
The clinic is located in a historic building with high ceilings, allowing the large ring luminaires to stand out architecturally while providing uniform illumination throughout the entire room.
The combination of direct and indirect lighting ensures optimal illumination of both the treatment area and the surrounding space.
Why full-spectrum lighting is important in dental clinics
Poor or insufficient lighting in treatment rooms can lead to:
- eye strain
- reduced concentration
- inaccurate colour perception
The Dentled full-spectrum daylight lighting (5000K) is designed to create a lighting environment similar to natural daylight.
With a CRI of 97+, colours are reproduced very accurately, which is essential for precise dental work.
