Dental treatment room lighting project:
Summary: Dental Practice De Oude Vest in Middelburg upgraded its clinic with Dentled DL60 full-spectrum daylight LED panels across all treatment rooms, routing areas, and the sterilisation room. The panels provide natural daylight-like illumination with excellent color accuracy, shadow-free light, and reduced eye strain, enhancing both patient comfort and working conditions for the dental team.
Client: De Oude Vest
Partner: Colosseum Dental Group
DentLed lighting used: Dentled DL60
Dental Practice De Oude Vest in Middelburg — a modern, patient-focused clinic within the Colosseum Dental Group — selected the DL60 Full Spectrum daylight LED panel solution by Dentled.
In close collaboration with the practice, we equipped the entire clinical environment with high-quality daylight LED panels. A total of 7 treatment rooms, the routing areas, and the sterilisation room were fitted with DL60 Full Spectrum panels. This lighting closely resembles natural daylight, ensuring excellent colour accuracy and high visual comfort during treatments. As a result, it significantly improves both working conditions for the dental team and the overall patient experience.
The daylight LED panels were carefully positioned to provide uniform, shadow-free illumination. This enhances ergonomics and contributes to a calm, professional atmosphere throughout the practice.
Key features of the Dentled DL60 Full Spectrum panels
- Premium-quality LED components
- Daylight colour temperature with CRI / RA >98 for accurate colour matching
- Full-spectrum daylight reduces eye strain and visual fatigue
- No negative impact on curing times of composites and bonding materials
- Minimum light output of 2000 lux at the workstation
(measured at the headrest of the dental chair in treatment position) - High CRI ensures the light is comfortable for patients, even when looking directly at the panels
- Flicker-free drivers for maximum visual comfort (standard LED lighting often operates at 50 Hz, which can subconsciously strain the eyes)
